A core BARNS OUTFITTERS classic, built on our signature production heritage—crafted on small-diameter knitting machines for heavy-gauge fabric and constructed with flatseamer stitching via US-made sewing machines.
The "COZUN" series originated from developing a fabric tough enough to withstand flatseamer construction. It’s a garment that gradually conforms to your body, becoming a cherished piece you’ll reach for year after year.
To prevent the zipper track from waving, we utilized a highly sophisticated sewing technique known as Ise-komi (easing), ensuring a clean, lay-flat finish. The zipper slider is exclusively custom-crafted for BARNS OUTFITTERS.
For the 2026 A/W seasonal colors, two new options join the lineup: Oatmeal, featuring a distinctive heathered texture crafted from marled yarn, and Ice Green, offering a crisp, vibrant hue perfect as an accent color.

"COZUN"

The COZUN knitting machine was made by improving an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine that was used during the transitional period from loopwheel knitting machines to high-speed sinker knitting machines. It has the unique characteristics of an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine, combining the softness of a loopwheel knitting machine with the firmness of a sinker knitting machine. It has been a staple at BARNS OUTFITTERS for many years.
