Crafted in Wakayama Prefecture using rare knitting machines from a century ago, this fabric is knit slowly and carefully to let the cotton breathe.
The result is a signature texture—exquisitely soft, with a unique tension that feels as though it is gently embracing your body.
Among our lineup, the "Tsuri-tenjiku" T-shirt series stands as our definitive Spring/Summer masterpiece. This season, our iconic staple gets a limited-edition makeover designed in collaboration with JACKSON MATISSE. Featuring the classic Mickey Mouse, this special design infuses the timeless character with an authentic, college-prep collegiate edge.

"Classic Mickey"

The iconic Mickey Mouse graphic has adorned everything from tees and sweatshirts to chambray shirts over the decades. For this special release, we resurrected the late-1930s "Classic Mickey" design—the transitional era where the pie-cut eye gave way to the solid oval eye.
Reimagined by JACKSON MATISSE, the graphic is infused with a rich collegiate aesthetic. Offered strictly in White and Gray to let the print blend seamlessly into the body, it utilizes a washout printing technique that faithfully reproduces the subtle, naturally worn texture of genuine vintage tees.

The neck is a binder neck, which is sewn across the body as seen in vintage models. This is a specification for excellent elasticity and durability, and to be used for many years. As a subtle, authentic touch, a custom "Jackson" print is stamped inside the binder-neck collar.

Deviating from our standard loopwheel (Tsuri-ami) T-shirts, this piece features side-seam construction (waki-hagi) to achieve a slightly roomier, more relaxed silhouette.

Uneven yarns made from American cotton are used, which have more fluff than ordinary yarns to retain a dry, crisp texture. The softness and rough texture are created by knitting the fabric slowly so that the yarn contains air.
