A core BARNS OUTFITTERS classic, built on our signature production heritage—crafted on small-diameter knitting machines for heavy-gauge fabric and constructed with flatseamer stitching via US-made sewing machines.
The "COZUN" series originated from developing a fabric tough enough to withstand flatseamer construction. It’s a garment that gradually conforms to your body, becoming a cherished piece you’ll reach for year after year.
Accents are concentrated around the neckline, featuring a high-cut skipper neck adorned with a custom Apollo concho button made from a genuine Mercury dime, crafted by Button Works.
For the 2026 A/W seasonal colors, we’ve brought back two fan favorites from our revival archive: Vintage Navy and Vintage Orange. Joined by an all-new Vintage Red, this year’s lineup offers three distinct colorways to choose from.

"COZUN"

The COZUN knitting machine was made by improving an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine that was used during the transitional period from loopwheel knitting machines to high-speed sinker knitting machines. It has the unique characteristics of an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine, combining the softness of a loopwheel knitting machine with the firmness of a sinker knitting machine. It has been a staple at BARNS OUTFITTERS for many years.
