"Extreme Heavyweight Sweat"
This sweatshirt series, referred to as Super Heavyweight, is an item that can truly be called "extreme heavyweight" among the many sweats developed by BARNS OUTFITTERS. It is made using a generous amount of French terry fabric weighing 500g per square yard (approx. 90cm square).
From this highly acclaimed series, which receives a huge response every year, the first item for the Spring/Summer season has already been released.
Since it features a French terry (unbrushed) lining, it can be used for a long period, from the cold Autumn/Winter season through the early spring when it can be worn as a single layer.
The design adopts the classic American casual college style.

"BROWN TABBY"
“Brown Tabby” refers to a kijitora (brown tabby cat), named for its striped coat that resembles the coloring of a pheasant.
While the main design motif is a tiger, the inclusion of the words “BROWN TABBY” in a collegiate-style font adds a playful twist—suggesting that it might actually be a brown tabby after all.
By using a bold, college-inspired typeface, the design is brought together with a classic Americana collegiate aesthetic.
For the printing method, a crack effect is applied to all colors to create a vintage, worn-in look.

The wide armholes provide a relaxed, comfortable wearing experience.

We incorporated the details of vintage sweatshirts, including moderately roomy armholes, underarm gussets, and the V-shaped gusset on the sleeve cuffs—a feature originally created to make it easier to put one's arm through the sleeve ribbing, which lacked stretch at the time.

The thick, French terry fabric can be used for an extended period, from early autumn through early spring.
