While "heavy and tough" has become synonymous with BARNS OUTFITTERS, this time they've opted for a finer 20/- jersey fabric to create a T-shirt that's easy to wear even during the peak of summer heat. Although finer than their usual yarns, the 20-count yarn used here is still considered relatively thick among standard T-shirt fabrics, striking a balance between breathability and substance. This original body, designed with summer comfort in mind, is finished with BARNS OUTFITTERS’ signature pigment dyeing. As a special item for this season, the design is vividly rendered using multi-color printing. It draws inspiration from the logo of the world’s most widely used operating system, which was used from 1992 to 1995.

In the 1970s, dramatic advances in printing technology expanded the range of expression, leading many companies to adopt vibrant multi-color printing for advertising and promotional materials—something that had been difficult to achieve before. Focusing on that era, BARNS OUTFITTERS is releasing a special item featuring a lavish five-color print on the front, creating a vivid and eye-catching design. The design is inspired by the logo used from around 1992 to 1995 by the operating system that launched in 1995 and went on to become the world’s most widely adopted OS. The print treatment includes a washed-out effect for the white version and a cracked finish for the black version.

The neckline features a simple yet durable binder neck construction, making it tough enough for everyday wear.

The moderately relaxed fit strikes a perfect balance—comfortable enough to wear on its own, yet easy to layer with a shirt or cardigan.

The silhouette, adjusted in length and width for a more boxy shape, works in harmony with the fabric to allow excellent airflow—offering a breezy, effortless feel that makes this piece especially comfortable to wear.
