While "heavy and tough" has become synonymous with BARNS OUTFITTERS, this time they've opted for a finer 20/- jersey fabric to create a T-shirt that's easy to wear even during the peak of summer heat. Although finer than their usual yarns, the 20-count yarn used here is still considered relatively thick among standard T-shirt fabrics, striking a balance between breathability and substance. This original body, designed with summer comfort in mind, is finished with BARNS OUTFITTERS’ signature pigment dyeing. A design inspired by the peaceful village of Lake Odessa, nestled between Jordan Lake and Tupper Lake in Ionia, Michigan.

Anyone with a love for American casual style has likely worn a college-logo item at least once. The origin of this style dates back to the 1920s–30s, when the eight private universities known as the Ivy League in the Northeastern United States began producing logo apparel for their athletic teams, which was later sold at campus co-ops. It became a cultural tradition for teams to adopt mascots—often animals or historical figures—as symbols, leading to a variety of mascots unique to each school. Today, every institution has its own distinct mascot and school colors, serving as key elements of their identity. This design features a three-tiered college logo inspired by souvenir items from Lake Odessa, a village in Ionia, Michigan, surrounded by Jordan Lake and Tupper Lake, known for its popular outdoor activities like fishing and boating. The print uses a washed-out effect for the white version and a cracked print for the black version.

The neckline features a simple yet durable binder neck construction, making it tough enough for everyday wear.

The moderately relaxed fit strikes a perfect balance—comfortable enough to wear on its own, yet easy to layer with a shirt or cardigan.
