The second installment of the BIG MAC collaboration for the 2025 Spring/Summer season follows the success of the 2024 Autumn/Winter collection. BIG MAC was born in the early 1920s as a private brand for a major American department store. At the time, it gained widespread popularity among workers for its excellent functionality and quality, especially with denim and heavy-weight flannel shirts. Today, BIG MAC continues to evolve, drawing from its extensive archives to offer modernized silhouettes and materials. The brand has transformed into a nostalgic favorite for those who have embraced vintage clothing, while appealing to younger generations with its fresh take. The second release for the 25SS season features lightweight painter pants, perfect for the spring and summer.

"A Piece Aimed at Real Vintage"

This collaboration item with BIG MAC, which has released many pieces since last season, features the painter pants (also known as carpenter pants). While there are various interpretations of the name, common features include large back pockets, side tool pockets, a hammer loop, and a loose silhouette designed for ease of movement—functional design elements made with workwear efficiency in mind. For this release, BARNS OUTFITTERS has stayed true to the original feel, while updating it with a lightweight fabric perfect for spring and summer. The light indigo version is treated with a used finish, and paint splatters are added for a special touch, making these pants stand out as a one-of-a-kind piece.

The names of both brands are placed as a symbol of the collaboration.

The large back pocket features a name tag and flasher that recreate the original design, along with details such as wear marks from where something may have been placed, showcasing the attention to detail in every aspect.

Areas prone to stress are reinforced with triple-needle stitching, preserving the essential work pants details.

The used finish, paint splatters, and damaged hems are all carefully crafted to recreate a truly authentic vintage look. Please note that there may be slight variations in the paint splatter application on each pair.
