"Special Collaboration Items"
The second collaboration item to color the 2024AW season is now available. BIG MAC was established in the early 1920s as a private brand of a major U.S. department store. At that time, the brand gained a lot of support mainly from workers due to its excellent functionality and quality, especially in workwear such as denim and heavy-weight flannel shirts. Today, based on the archives accumulated over its long history, the company offers products with modern arrangements of silhouettes and materials. The brand has been reborn as a brand that is nostalgic for the generation that used to wear old clothes and new for the younger generation. Following the recent long-sleeved T-shirts, coveralls are now available. This special item is a detailed reproduction of an item from that time.

"A piece that aims for real vintage"
Coveralls, the main item of the BIG MAC collaboration, are said to have originated around the 19th century and were also known as choir jackets, railroad jackets, and engineer jackets, and as the name suggests, were used as work clothes for railroad, agricultural, and coal mine workers. In the 1930s, the number of jackets with four pockets increased, establishing the basis for the designs we see today. In order to reproduce the real vintage look, BARNS OUTFITTERS has packed in a lot of attention to detail, such as wash processing, 3-needle stitching, and plated buttons. In addition, two original badges are included in the special edition.
The names of both companies, a sign of collaboration, are placed around the neck.
The wide armholes give it a relaxed, work-inspired silhouette. The size is large enough to allow a parka to be worn inside.
Plated buttons are used for buttons. Button holes for pocket watch chains, reminiscent of vintage items, are another distinctive detail.
The three-needle stitching, which is unique to work items, is meant to reinforce areas where force is applied, but it also serves as a design accent.
A tag used in the 1970s is reproduced and placed on the left chest pocket. This is an accent unique to this collaboration.
It looks like a dead stock with flasher.
Just the right amount of lightweight denim fabric is used. We focused on the lightweight ease of wear that only a coverall can provide.
