"Extremely thick sweatshirt"
The sweatshirt series, named "Super Heavyweight," is made with a luxurious 500g of fleece fabric per square yard (approximately 90cm square), making it one of the thickest sweatshirts that BARNS OUTFITTERS has ever offered. The series, which debuted last year and received a great response, is now back with an update this year. The update involves using pigment dye and adding a bio-wash, giving the item a strong vintage look. The design is inspired by souvenir items from a local restaurant whose mascot is Mikey the swordfish.

"Fictional local restaurant"
Mikey's Generals is a restaurant where locals gather every night and is an essential part of the local area. The mascot of this popular fish restaurant is Mikey the marlin. Mikey, who stands in the kitchen with his small fins and skillfully holds a spatula, is it possible that he realizes that he is cooking the same fish as himself? The design is inspired by souvenir items with a single point on the front and an impact on the back. The print is gray washout, charcoal cracked rubber, and sax pigment.
The wide armholes allow for a relaxed fit. The gussets under the arms give it a vintage feel.
The ribbing on the cuffs and hem is set to an exquisite tension, achieving both the sporty and smart look that is characteristic of sweatshirts.
For the colors other than gray, the color is applied to the surface of the fabric using pigment dye, and then washed to recreate the faded look that is unique to vintage clothing. The color fades with repeated washing, allowing you to enjoy the changes that occur over time.
The thick fleece fabric can be used for a long time from early autumn to early spring.
