“Reviving the Golden Era of American Tees”
In the 1980s and early 90s, American-made t-shirts were defined by "Single-Stitch" (Tenchi-Nui) construction on the sleeves and hem. While it was a standard method dictated by the machinery of the time, today it has become a coveted detail for vintage enthusiasts.
We have purposefully chosen this labor-intensive single-stitch method, paired with authentic shoulder-to-shoulder "tako-binder" (neck tape) reinforcement, to recreate the exact feel of a vintage find.
The hem features a printed label inspired by military contract numbers, adding to its utilitarian soul.
For the finish, we used Pigment prints on Oatmeal and Half-rubber prints on Black and Olive to ensure each color reflects its true heritage.

The neckline is finished with "Tako-binder" (shoulder-to-shoulder taping), a classic detail frequently seen on high-quality printed tees from the 1990s and 2000s.
This construction covers the raw seam edges, ensuring they don't rub against the skin for a stress-free, comfortable fit. Additionally, this reinforcement prevents the neck from stretching over time, maintaining a clean silhouette even after repeated wear.

Designed with a generous body width and spacious armholes, this piece creates a natural drop-shoulder silhouette that exudes a sophisticated, laid-back charm.

A thoughtfully placed pocket on the left chest adds both visual balance and practical utility.

The hem is accented with a printed label inspired by military contract numbers, lending a rugged, utilitarian soul to the garment. To further enhance its vintage pedigree, the hem is finished with an authentic single-stitch (Tenchi-Nui) construction.

Knitted at a high gauge, the fabric features a beautiful, dense grain and a sophisticated natural luster. This premium texture provides a sharp, refined counterpoint to the relaxed silhouette, ensuring that while the fit is comfortable and airy, the overall look remains crisp and polished.
