While "heavy and tough" has become the definitive hallmark of BARNS OUTFITTERS, we intentionally utilized a finer 20-count jersey fabric to bring back our highly anticipated summer staple—expertly designed to keep you cool and comfortable even during the sweltering heat. Although crafted from a finer yarn than our signature heavyweight pieces, 20-count yarn still sits on the slightly thicker side of standard t-shirt fabrics. This allows this custom-developed body to focus entirely on summer wearability without sacrificing structure. This year's edition is spun from semi-combed cotton yarn—a blend of long and short fibers—resulting in a perfectly natural, raw texture with a crisp, refreshing hand-feel.

"The Life with cool IOWA"

Located in the American Midwest, Iowa is a state proudly known as the "Heartland of America." Characterized by fertile agricultural terrain with corn and soybean fields stretching toward the horizon, it is also a top pork producer that sustains the nation's food supply. This design beautifully captures the relaxed, nostalgic charm of Iowa’s rural towns—a place that represents the quintessential American landscape. To enhance the vintage aesthetic, we tailored the printing techniques for each colorway: a soft wash-out print for White and Yellow, and a rich-textured half-rubber print for Black.
