While "heavy and tough" has become the definitive hallmark of BARNS OUTFITTERS, we intentionally utilized a finer 20-count jersey fabric to bring back our highly anticipated summer staple—expertly designed to keep you cool and comfortable even during the sweltering heat. Although crafted from a finer yarn than our signature heavyweight pieces, 20-count yarn still sits on the slightly thicker side of standard t-shirt fabrics. This allows this custom-developed body to focus entirely on summer wearability without sacrificing structure. This year's edition is spun from semi-combed cotton yarn—a blend of long and short fibers—resulting in a perfectly natural, raw texture with a crisp, refreshing hand-feel.

In American college sports, the roaring stands are powered not only by cheerleaders and marching bands but also by "Student Selections"—vibrant student-led cheering sections akin to traditional Japanese pep squads. Each university boasts its own distinct traditions, including groups famed for donning matching team colors to create a unified sea of fandom. Inspired by the electric energy of these student sections, we brought this concept to life in a classic collegiate graphic. To deliver an authentic heritage feel, we customized the printing specs for each colorway: a soft wash-out print for White and Yellow, and a rich-textured half-rubber print for Black.

The neckline features a clean, simple binder neck construction, engineered to withstand heavy, long-term wear.
