This sweatshirt series, referred to as Super Heavyweight, is an item that can truly be called "extreme heavyweight" among the many sweats developed by BARNS OUTFITTERS. It is made using a generous amount of French terry fabric weighing 500g per square yard (approx. 90cm square). 
From this highly acclaimed series, which receives a huge response every year, the first item for the Spring/Summer season has already been released.
Since it features a French terry (unbrushed) lining, it can be used for a long period, from the cold Autumn/Winter season through the early spring when it can be worn as a single layer.
The long-awaited zip-up cardigan, which enjoys deep-rooted popularity, has been released.

For men's wear, the crewneck cardigan is an item that seems like it should be easy to find, yet surprisingly is not.
By making it a zip-up type rather than the standard button-up cardigan, you can coordinate it much like a zip-up hoodie, offering the advantage of feeling instantly familiar even to first-time wearers.
Furthermore, if you zip it all the way up, it can be used just like a crewneck sweatshirt, making it an unexpectedly versatile and useful item.

By adopting raglan sleeves, we have increased the range of motion and reduced bulkiness around the shoulders when wearing outerwear. We focused on creating a stress-free fit and feel.

We incorporated details of vintage sweatshirts, such as the underarm gussets and the V-shaped gusset on the sleeve cuffs—a feature originally created to make it easier to put one's arm through the ribbing, which lacked elasticity at the time.

The zipper pull features a BARNS OUTFITTERS original slider. The finish is reminiscent of a certain famous slider.

The thick, French terry fabric can be used for an extended period, from early autumn through early spring.
