"Extreme Heavyweight Sweat"

This sweatshirt series, referred to as Super Heavyweight, is an item that can truly be called "extreme heavyweight" among the many sweats developed by BARNS OUTFITTERS. It is made using a generous amount of French terry fabric weighing 500g per square yard (approx. 90cm square). 
From this highly acclaimed series, which receives a huge response every year, the first item for the Spring/Summer season has already been released.
Since it features a French terry (unbrushed) lining, it can be used for a long period, from the cold Autumn/Winter season through the early spring when it can be worn as a single layer.
A design from the past has been revived (reissued) with a revised printing technique.

"STATE OF CALIF."

California is one of America's leading states for its diverse and abundant nature, where you can enjoy various terrains and climates, including oceans, mountains, deserts, and forests. Furthermore, it is an immensely popular destination, home to many of the nation's top tourist spots—so much so that when one thinks of the U.S., California often comes to mind.
This design, which features a strong font and possesses a somewhat classical collegiate feel, is a revival of a design that appeared several years ago, but with a revised printing technique.
The printing technique used is wash-out for the gray colorway only, while all others feature cracking, thereby creating distinct vintage textures.

The wide armholes provide a relaxed, comfortable wearing experience.

We incorporated the details of vintage sweatshirts, including moderately roomy armholes, underarm gussets, and the V-shaped gusset on the sleeve cuffs—a feature originally created to make it easier to put one's arm through the sleeve ribbing, which lacked stretch at the time.

The thick, French terry fabric can be used for an extended period, from early autumn through early spring.
