This is a standard item produced with the unique production background of BARNS OUTFITTERS, including a small-sized knitting machine for knitting heavyweight fabrics and flat seamer sewing using U.S. sewing machines.
The "COZUN" series, which began with the development of fabrics that could withstand flat seaming without layering, is a piece that can be worn for a long time with affection as the fabric becomes familiar to the body.
Our annual release of the sweatshirt with contrasting ribbing on the neck and cuffs is back again this year.
Additionally, we are also expanding the lineup to include printed items this season.

"SOUTH PACIFIC"

Guadalcanal and Bougainville in the Solomon Islands, along with New Caledonia, served as vital strongholds for the U.S. military during the South Pacific campaign of WWII.
Drawing inspiration from the souvenir gear of a fictional unit stationed in these tropical regions, this collection features stencil-style typography and palm tree motifs—icons often found on mementos from the era.
To create distinct vintage aesthetics, we utilized different printing techniques: a "wash-out" print for the grey, providing a soft, faded feel, and a "crack" print for the black, evoking an authentic, aged look.

This model began with the development of a fabric that could withstand flat seamer sewing and has now become a fall/winter staple. A simple piece that allows you to enjoy the charm of BARNS OUTFITTERS to the fullest. It features a double V-neck gusset, a detail of vintage sweatshirts that is rarely seen these days, and is sewn with a flat seam to create a piece that has a classic look but is comfortable to wear.

The COZUN knitting machine was made by improving an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine that was used during the transitional period from loopwheel knitting machines to high-speed sinker knitting machines. It has the unique characteristics of an old-fashioned sinker knitting machine, combining the softness of a loopwheel knitting machine with the firmness of a sinker knitting machine. It has been a staple at BARNS OUTFITTERS for many years.
