【Button Works】 Mercury Dime Coin Apollo Concho Pendant Top #2 BW-0210
"Pendant Top Crafted from Authentic Vintage Coins"
Minted between 1916 and 1945, the Winged Liberty Head dime—commonly known as the "Mercury Dime"—is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful coins ever struck in U.S. history.
Designed by the renowned sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, the obverse depicts Liberty wearing a traditional Phrygian cap with wings, symbolizing freedom of thought.
Composed of 90% silver and 10% copper, each authentic vintage coin is individually hand-pressed into an iconic Apollo-style concho shape.
A silver jump ring is meticulously hard-soldered (brazed) to the top, followed by an antiquing (oxidizing) and polishing process.
As it integrates naturally into your daily wear, the silver surface builds a rich, dark patina, allowing you to enjoy a genuine aging process over time.
