The 1990s marked a period of significant evolution for sweatshirts, as they retained the charm of vintage pieces while being influenced by emerging street cultures. Silhouettes and designs underwent major changes during this era. Inspired by that period, this piece combines vintage detailing with a modern silhouette. The design reimagines the brand name in a collegiate and Old English style. Can be worn as a coordinated set with tops made from the same material.

"OLD ENGLISH"

Old English fonts, also known as Blackletter, were widely used in Europe from the 12th to 17th centuries as handwritten scripts. Characterized by thick, angular strokes and intricate detailing, they were also prominent in early letterpress printing. Even today, this highly popular font is used across a variety of contexts—from traditional and authoritative applications like newspaper mastheads and university crests to rebellious expressions in streetwear and hip-hop culture. For this design, the brand name is creatively expressed in two styles: a shortened 'B OUT F' in a collegiate style on the left thigh, and 'BO' in Old English style, showcasing a distinct approach to logo design.

The waistband features elastic with a drawstring, and the hems are adjustable with drawstrings for a comfortable fit. By adjusting the hem drawstrings, these pants can be styled to match any type of footwear.

The side pockets feature bar tack stitching for reinforcement, with contrasting colors adding a subtle accent.

Featuring a gusseted crotch, this design allows for greater range of motion and easier leg movement.

Unusually for sweatpants, there are two back pockets, offering convenient separation for small items.
