Vintage T-shirts from before the 1990s were often made with a "tubular" design, meaning they had no side seams. This construction was ideal for mass production, as it eliminated the need to sew the side seams, making it perfect for inexpensive American-made T-shirts at the time. However, to adjust the width of the shirt, it was necessary to modify the knitting machine, which led to the gradual shift towards side-seam construction for easier adjustments in fit. Now, we've faithfully recreated this classic American vintage style using the original tubular design. For the Spring/Summer 2025 season, the shirt is released in colors that match the recently launched cotton-linen shirts, bringing a cohesive and timeless feel to the collection.
