"Vintage-like T-shirt"

One of the most common features of vintage T-shirts is called "Marudo", which has no seams on the sides. This is because it was suitable for mass production without sewing the sides, and most of the T-shirts made in the U.S. at that time were of "Marudo = TUBE" specification. This year, the "TUBE T-shirt" series, which reproduces such items from those days with the specifications of the round-body and a faded look by pigment dyeing, is back again, this time designed as a souvenir item of the only motel and restaurant in Rachel, Nevada, the city of UFOs.

"Rachel, Nevada, the City of UFOs"

Rachel, Nevada, known as the town of UFOs, is a mysterious town about 200 km from Las Vegas that is home to Area 51, where the UFO that crashed in the Roswell Incident in July 1947 is said to have been brought in. The only motel and restaurant in this small town with a population of about 50 is popular for its alien burgers made of 100% alien meat. This design was written with the theme of souvenir items from such a humorous restaurant. UFO hunters chasing after dreams and romance are still conducting their own investigations in this town today while eating alien burgers.

The moderately roomy size is well balanced and can be worn alone or with a shirt or cardigan. It is a piece that can be worn in a variety of styles.

The fabric is made without any seams on the sides, called "Marudo", and is used as it is. The tubular body is soft against the skin and allows for stress-free wearing.

In order to reproduce the American-made T-shirts of the time, we were particular in selecting a fabric that is dry and crisp. Pigment dyeing was also applied to reproduce the faded look characteristic of old clothes.
