"Vintage-inspired items"

The original body is made of 16 count yarn, which is neither too thick nor too thin, and pigment dyeing is used to create an item with the atmosphere of a vintage item that has been sun faded, which is typical of BARNS OUTFITTERS. Vivid colors were chosen to add a touch of color to the autumn/winter season, when colors tend to be duller. Although the colors are bright, they are easy to coordinate with the faded look of pigment dyeing. The design is based on a motif of a souvenir item depicting the scenery of San Francisco.

It is one of the most popular cities in the United States, known for the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Wharf, and Alcatraz Island, where Al Capone and George Kelly were imprisoned. San Francisco is also a city with many cultures, such as skateboarding, track (fixie) biking, and surfing. This design is symbolic of San Francisco, depicting the cityscape, inspired by original items from a surf shop where locals gather. The finish has a hint of the 90s.

The neck is finished with an shoulder-to-shoulder taping so that the seam allowance does not directly contact the skin for a stress-free fit and to prevent stretching. This is a specification often seen in American vintage clothing.

The basic size makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, from wearing it alone to as an inner layer.

Pigment dyeing is used to apply color to the surface of the fabric, and then the fabric is washed to recreate the faded look that is unique to vintage clothing.
