Denali is a mountain in Alaska, also known as Mount McKinley, standing at an impressive 6,190.4 meters, making it the highest peak in North America. The word “Denali” comes from the language of the indigenous people and means “the great one,” “the tall one,” or “the high one,” referring to the mountain itself. The surrounding area is designated as Denali National Park, where a wide variety of wildlife live in the vast, untouched wilderness.
