One of the distinctive features often seen in vintage T-shirts is the use of a "tubular body" with no side seams. This design eliminated the need for side stitching, making it ideal for mass production. As a result, most American-made T-shirts at the time were made using this "tubular" (TUBE) construction. However, as the demand for more diverse sizing grew with the times, side-seamed styles gradually became the norm. To recreate those classic vintage items, our [TUBE T-shirt] series is back again this year—featuring 16-count BD yarn, a tubular body, and a faded look achieved through pigment dyeing. While T-shirts featuring "Mickey Mouse" are gaining popularity, this time, an item inspired by "Donald Duck" has been released. It is a special item with an original design created just for this collection.

"One of Disney's Most Popular Characters"

"Donald Duck," who made his first appearance in the 1934 Silly Symphonies series with the short film The Wise Little Hen, went on to become the protagonist in many works from the 1930s to the 1950s. With over 170 appearances, he surpasses "Mickey Mouse" in terms of screen time, making him one of Disney's most beloved characters. Known for his intense expressions of joy, anger, sorrow, and joy, "Donald Duck" is a character with a fiery temper and a mischievous streak, yet he’s undeniably charming and lovable. This time, the spotlight is on "Donald Duck." Inspired by a 1970s University of Oregon college T-shirt, the design evokes the feel of a sports team icon, with "Donald Duck’s" initial "D" seemingly ready to jump out. The original design incorporates this lively energy. The print features cracks on the charcoal color, and a washed-out effect on the other three colors.
