The first release of the BIG MAC collaboration item for the 2025 SS season continues from the 2024 AW season. BIG MAC was born in the early 1920s as a private brand for a major American department store. At that time, it gained popularity among workers due to its excellent functionality and quality, focusing on workwear such as denim and heavy-duty flannel shirts. Today, based on the archives accumulated over its long history, the brand presents products that have been modernized in silhouette and materials. It has transformed into a brand that feels nostalgic for those who have experienced vintage clothing, while offering something fresh and new to younger generations. The first release for the 25SS season features the classic chambray shirt, a perfect piece for spring and summer.

"Aiming for Real Vintage"

This collaboration item with BIG MAC, which has released many items since last season, is inspired by the real vintage look. The chambray shirt, which is said to have been born in Europe around the 16th to 18th centuries, was adopted in the late 19th to early 20th century as workwear in America, worn by workers and soldiers. It later became associated with jeans brands and workwear, evolving into a classic item that is now essential in American casual fashion. For this collaboration, BARNS OUTFITTERS has based the design on the style that BIG MAC used in the 1970s.

The names of both companies, a mark of collaboration, are placed at the neck.

The wide armholes and relaxed silhouette, derived from workwear, offer a comfortable fit. The triple-stitched seams, typical of workwear, ensure outstanding durability.

An embroidery is applied to the left chest, and although flap pockets were common at the time, the flap has been deliberately removed for practicality. While maintaining the details of the era, the focus is on usability. To evoke the atmosphere of the time, a bow-tie shaped flasher has been provided.

The left chest pocket features a small accent with the BIG MAC piss name inserted.

The soft and breezy fabric makes it perfect for the spring and summer season. With wear, it develops a vintage-like texture.
