The finish is indistinguishable from the original, a feat achieved by Japanese craftsmen. Each item is subtly different, with the position of the engraving, the way it is bent, the angle, and so on. It can be used in a wide range of ways, from hanging belts and bags in the closet to hanging ornamental plants in the living room, making it a difficult item to decide on, in a good way. The silver color has a dull, sophisticated look with no shine, while the black has a matte black finish like Mil.Spec. (US military standard) items. You can also enjoy the changes that occur over time, including the gold.
